Subject: Iron Hands: cheap captain, librarian or MotF?

I've been putting together a 1000pt list and so far am set on the following stuff:
Dreadnought, multi melta and drop pod 135
Sternguard squad, drop pod 155
Tactical squad, plasma gun, 5 additional marines drop pod 190
Tactical squad, plasma gun, rhino 120
Predator, tri las 140
Stormtalon, skyhammer missile launcher & assault cannon 125
I'm torn between running another 5 tacticals for the rhino squad and a librarian, or a cheap captain, but I'm not sure on what wargear.
There's 135 points to spend. The librarian would just be here to fill hq tax and maybe letting off a psychic shriek or two. The captain could be a wound tank for the Sternguard, an anti tank unit attached to a drop pod combat squad (without the plasma gun), or an anti infantry unit attached to those 5 tacticals. I could go for a MotF and give the pods Deathwind launchers...
Any input would be great! I'm usually fine writing lists, but I'm always torn by hq's.

Yeah I always find the space marine HQs underwhelming unless you spend a lot on them. I have not played a stock Libby in 7th with the new rules, what are your chances of even getting a spell off?

I'd say a Librarian is the way to go. Stick him in a pod with the Sternguard, take Telepathy for Shriek and laugh manically as the heads of your enemy explode.
Shrieking a Riptide of the board on T1 is pure gold as well!

I'll reiteriate what I said on your other thread. The MotF is a classic and obvious choice for Iron hands. If you do get one though, and mount it on a bike, make certain to magnetize it for the Shield Eternal and a Conversion Beamer. It allows you to scale up your force, as well.

I think I'm going to stick to the librarian.
I've realised that since I won't be playing tournaments and doubt I'll be facing flyers much, and don't really like them, I'm going to cut out the Stormtalon. I'm now torn between more tri-las preds, or something else?
