Hello all,

After being introduced to dakka via a local gaming group's Facebook page and reading a bunch of the topics here (mostly in painting and modeling, some tactics though), I thought joining and contributing to the community would be a good way to stay motivated and excited about war gaming. Real world stuff usually makes it difficult to maintain any semblance of motivation, i.e. job, children, wife, etc etc. Hopefully, being among a group of like-minded people will help keep the spirit alive... at least that is what I hope to gain from being a member here.

I mostly own and play 40k now, but I have played other games in the past. Warmachine/hordes, blood bowl, various board games, a little bit of everything really...

I am currently working on getting started with Warhammer Fantasy (Lizardmen, love the models) and hope to draw some inspiration from the community.
