It's an odd combo of a castling Gunline, and a Pod assault army. I'd have to see it in play a time or two to tell, but I think it might do well. My major concern is Maelstrom, maybe find room for a Brood or two of Gargoyles?
I very rarely play Maelstrom missions in my area but if we where too I think I have enough board coverage to manage. The 2 Fliers and 6
DS units should be able to cover most ground. Gargoyles - maybe. I've yet to use them and often worry about the points investment not paying off.

I guess it might be but I've found harpies to be an absolute waste of time. They are literally cannon fodder and nothing else.

I would definitely want something to make all the dudes come in at once though, because a Dima coming in at turn 4 is not what you want....not at all. You could go Swarmlord or check the Stronghold Assault supplement for a fortification that allows you to purchase a Comms Relay. That allows you to re-roll your reserves (successful or not) to keep your rippers in deep strike for longer and to get everything in on turn 2 (probably). Sadly the Void Shield Generator doesn't come with this option, but a Bastion does!
Agreed - Skyblight is money and I'd rather go for homeland support i.e LAN.
Swarmlord was one of the first things I thought about when the Tyrannocyte was revealed but hits pts cost is just far too high and I cannot justify. A bastion and coms relay could be great though. In that case I would drop the Warriors and lose the LAN and replace with a Bastion and coms relay.
