There have been some mentions of this in news section the past, but I thought it deserved a mention here. Some time ago Rebel minis acquired the molds to many of the old Mongoose SST minis. They've had to change a few things here and there for copyright reasons, but some of these figs are back in production and at really affordable prices.

Most of the packs here (though not all) are former SST minis
http://rebelminis.com/sciencefiction.html

Earth force (SST Troopers) $25 for 12!

You can even buy separate packs of the weapons.

A couple codes of bugs including spider bugs and mantis bugs.

And the 35mm tall skinnies have new heads and are now the valorians

Some molds have been retained by Mongoose and some are too dependent on SONY's IP to ever make it out, so fans looking for everything will be disappointed, but overall, it's a great way to get some nice OOP figs at a good deal.

Also, right now they're having a 20% off sale, so that's nice also.

I got a set of the cap troopers not that long ago. Not blown away by the quality of these sculpts, also not a big fan of the holes many of them have in the sides of their helmets. Though for that price I should just shut up.

When Mongoose first released them, they were to be plastic multipart kits - 20 dudes for $24.99. The Chinese factory screwed up the sprue and they had a Mantic-style Men-At-Arms contract (as in, they couldn't get them fixed). So instead Mongoose was like, well we promised 20 guys for $24.99, so they had the metal ones sculpted and sold them in a box of 20 for $24.99. It was the best deal ever and at one point I owned like 200 of them.

"...and special thanks to Judgedoug!" - Alessio Cavatore "Now you've gone too far Doug! ... Too far... " - Rick Priestley "I've decided that I'd rather not have you as a member of TMP." - Editor, The Miniatures Page "I'd rather put my testicles through a mangle than spend any time gaming with you." - Richard, TooFatLardies "We need a Doug Craig in every store." - Warlord Games "Thank you for being here, Judge Doug!" - Adam Troke
