Is anyone else here as excited as I am for the DBZ card game to make its return? I was always a bit miffed that I was too late to know DBZ even had a card game back in the day, and ended up with some second hand cards years later, but with no one to play with. I was then alerted by my hobby shop that the game was being revived, and even to be compatible with the older cards as well. Needless to say, I got damn excited!

Now the game is out, reprinted by a company called Panini. The cards look great, the pictures they used finally match the actual card (old cards were terrible when it came to this), and the updated rule set seems pretty clear cut and nice. Masteries are REALLY good and build the flavor for your deck.

I guess my 2 major sadnesses would be that they didn't try to do original art for the game, though I suppose Akira Toriyama wouldn't want to single handedly make art for all the cards (or would be too expensive to hire more artists) and that, as of now, I have almost NO players in my area. (Mostly a Magic following, with not many willing to branch from that one game).

But anyways, what about you Dakka? Are any of you as hype as I am about it?
