Where can I find Veteran Infantry for the British and commonwealth armies? Are there specific models or should I simply upgrade the regular infantry set?

Aint they just British infantry?

You can tell they are veterans by the way they wont come out from behind cover.

IIRC the thing that sets veterans apart from the regulars is access to more weaponry like an extra LMG and more SMG's.

Thank you, I only just got the rules so I was unclear about how it all works, I think I'll get a 3 ton truck to go with them.

Unlike 40k veterans in Bolt Action don't really stand out from the others model-wise, it's just an increase in their morale, being harder to kill and having access to more (or sometimes better) equipment.

If looking to model them more properly, research will go a long way into that. Or ask around, we've got a few people around here who are very knowledgeable on the matter and have excellent armies and showcases of models that serve as great sources of inspiration and motivation.

Yeah, Veterans basically just increase morale and make them tougher to hit (as they are better able to take cover/react/etc from incoming fire)
