If I reduce them both to 0, what happens? Does it lose the ability to shoot/fight back?

Sorry I've wrote that really poorly but I think you get the gist. Basically can you still shoot if you're on bs0 or still make attacks in the assault phase on Ws0
If your
WS is 0 you can't strike any blows and you are automatically hit in combat (
pg 9,
BRB)
If your
BS is 0 you are unable to fire a shots (
pg 9,
BRB)
However, you are playing Paroxysm incorrect.
According to the Malediction rules:
"Note that bonuses and penalties from different maledictions are always cumulative, but cannot, unless otherwise stated, take characteristics above 10 or below 1 (or below 2, in the case of Leadership)."(
pg 27,
BRB)
Prevents Paroxysm from reducing
WS and
BS to 0 - the minimum would be one for each characteristic as;
"Paroxysm is a malediction that targets a single enemy unit with 24". While this power is in effect, the target unit's
WS and
BS are both reduced by D3 (roll one and apply the result to both characteristics)." (
pg 69, Codex: Tyranids)
Has no specific wording that states Paroxysm can reduce the
WS and
BS to 0.
