So I got 155 points left that is just enough for a Crone, and while not a huge fan of it, I am light on AA. My other option is to drop the Rippers and pick up a second Flyrant. Feeling light on Synapse so will likely drop a RIpper swarm and add a Zoanthrope, 3 synapse is just to little.

And as I type this, I just learned the tourney will be allowing unlimited detachments but no more than 1 of any given detachment. So there is a third option, CAD, LAN, and BBN by taking a third Dakkafex. I probably need to drop a Ripper swarm and add a Zoanthrope for this. No ForgeWorld, so no Malanthrope.

Yeah, it does look a little "light" on Synapse to me. The simplest fix looks to be trim a Warrior off of each Brood, and lose the Adrenals, and Claws (might not be possible though). A general note, some of your costs look a little "off". So you might want to double check.

Once you get some points, a Zoey or two is a good way to get some inexpensive durable Synapse. (and the WCs can be used defensivly vs enemy psychers)

Double flyrant every time. Best unit in the codex.

erk, yup Termis were off. 4 warrior was more because I had them, and have found that 4 tends to have a survivor post Battlecannon blast than any thing else. With new Zoe kit coming out, and the Maleceptor just not cutting it, adding Zope is looking like a good option for replacing the 2 warriors with. Probably keep the claws and AG, the fleet gets them places and the claws help dissuade assault (plus already modeled from 4e).

Yeah, I though the Claws might be glued on. The Adrenals are dang useful It just come down to points. I am a well know "fan" of Zoey, but I think people underestimate just how useful she can be. I've seen a battle report or two vs Psycher heavy lists, where not one DTW is listed as even being tried. That alone would not happen if people had a few extra WCs each round.

Late entry: More preaching about DTW, just trying it causes your foe to commit more dice to each cast, and that raises the chance of Perils. Add that to Shadow, and you have a small increase in effectiveness.
