This is a 10,000pt battle between Dark Angels, Grey Knights and Imperial Knights on one side and Eldar and Dark Eldar on the other. This was an epic game involving over 500 models. So epic, that we only got three turns completed in the two days we set aside for the game. Next time we'll use smaller forces and enlist some other players to help.

Putting the report together was great fun and we plan to do more of these - maybe one every two or three months. So if you like the video, please do hit the subscribe button so you don't miss our future efforts. Hope you enjoy the video.

Wow that looks awesome. Shame you didn't have time to play more than 3 rounds

Both armies are outstanding. Literally golden demon level paintjobs everywhere you look. As a Dark Angel Player I have to say I was drooling slightly looking at that army. Hope you took the battle company formation.

Thanks for the positive feedback Guys.

It is a shame we didn't get finished but having got our armies to the golden 10k mark, we just wanted to get all of the troops on the board - even if it meant the game was a little impractical. We're both working on adding some super-heavies, so the next time we play a game that big, it will play a lot faster due to the sheer level of destructive firepower.

Steve, my Dark Angels opponent, didn't take the battle company formation as he was one squad away from the full ten units of green wing. However, I understand that a unit of assault marines is in the works that will bring the company up to full strength. He's also working on a deathwatch formation, which given the job he did on the grey knights, should look awesome.

Beautiful armies and terrain. Both of you should be rightly proud of your work. I watched the batrep, and I actually enjoyed the review of both army lists and the pre-deployment setup more than I did the actual gameplay The only real feedback I have is less zooming in and out (auto-focus takes too long to cycle) and tell your buddy to wait until after you're done speaking to take pics. The constant "beep-beep, cha-chick" was annoying.

Otherwise, great work! Hard to believe you had 10,000 points apiece and only 2 super-heavy walkers to pad out points. Start adding some SHTs and titans and you guys will be doubling what you have now with no problems.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. That was the first video report we've done, so we're still getting used to the camera. Super-heavies are on their way! I'm working on a scorpion and my opponent is working on a fellblade. We definitely need them as they'll help to speed the game up

You love the T-Rex. Its both a hero and a Villain in the first two movies. It is the "king" of dinosaurs. Its the best. You love your T-rex.
Then comes along the frakking Spinosaurus who kills the T-rex, and the movie says "LOVE THIS NOW! HE IS BETTER" But...in your heart, you love the T-rex, who shouldn't have lost to no stupid Spinosaurus. So you hate the movie. And refuse to love the Spinosaurus because it is a hamfisted attempt at taking what you loved, making it TREX +++ and trying to sell you it.
