And she want to play Ironsides (perfect fit XD) The only issue I'm running into is that I cant seem to find Toni's crew anywhere online, no models or anything. Anyone know where to get her?

n0t_u: No, but six can shoot out of it. Other than that it's a Rhino with a Heavy Flamer thrown on if I remember correctly.
Pretre: Thanks! I guess my pants are safe and clean after all.

Her box has not been released yet, and I do not think they have made an announcement of when we are seeing her. So for now, your fiancee will have to proxie her.

No reason to give up on the game, her cards came out with the first wave 2 release. So hopefully she should not be to far from being released.

I didn't mean to make it seem like I was. It just interests me that they would publish a character without releasing a model for it. Very GW of them. I'm hoping Wyrd doesn't start to follow GW's business practices.

Lol. Infinity suffers the same issue...some characters/models have been out for years without an official sculpt. I'm reluctant to call it a practice, though...more a frustrating reality in a sustainable release format?

Is there a company other than GW that doesn't have units with models that are waiting in the queue? I thought even PP, while they give out rules in the unit box (Wyrd does this too), that they still had books of units which obviously aren't all out when the book releases.
GW just got gunshy because, being the most popular wargame around, they had the customer base to support third parties making conversion bits and eventually full models. It was only a matter of time until the third party community started beating them to the punch on unreleased units. It didn't help that they tended to be the popular units from a book, so the market was hungry for the models.
I don't see Wyrd or Corvus Belli yet having that customer base that would support that environment, nor do they have a game that perpetuates it - 40k's third party market started off as conversion bits, which neither Malifaux of Infinity require.

It works very differently from gw all the rules are in two books and if you want the arsenal boxes, id rather there be rules for a model when i buy it than having to wait to use it to its full potential.

Sorry to say that Ironsides is the newest Master. Her and her crew weren't even in any of the fictions until Crossroads came out this quarter.

Yep, Loki put it well: it's pretty common for smaller companies to release rules for minis before the minis are done. Unlike GW, Wyrd's never released rules for a model they haven't made, it's just a matter of time.
