Hey guys can you give me some ideas on how to paint the grills above the wings and behind the turret? As well as the pipe along the inside of the wings? Plus any other details I missed. I know I missed quite a bit of black panel highlighting. I just haven't had time to finish that up yet

Here's the serpent:

My first recommendation would be to take some new photos, its not that these are terrible, but the light filtering in from the window has left them a little hazy and it makes it hard to evaluate.

Ok, well first off I love your gems they look awesome and especially on that eldar scheme they really bring the model out of its Black and white look. The colours fade lovely and the white spots are consistent

The grills; I personally would leave them black, your scheme is black and bone, so you cant really use another colour without destroying it in my opinion. With the bone panelling around the grills i would keep them black, perhaps simply give them some edge highlighting. However, as its black you can always try another colour and see how it works, then revert to black if you dont like.

Other than that, I dont have much else to say Overall looks like a good paintjob, but i'd like to see it in some better photos, as I dont think these do it much justice.

Favourite Game: When your Warboss on bike wrecks 3 vehicles simply by HoW - especially when his bike is a custom monowheel.

Looking good, a little tidy up to finish though, i noticed 'over paint' on the base of gem front left and on the base of the turret 'antenna'. Think that would improve the overall look alot. Maybe edge highlighting the intake grills and painting the exhaust cowls in a dark silver with a black wash just to break up the black around the back a little? (The silver/black wash edge highlight on the intake vanes would make it look like it's been sucking in lots of dirty/dusty or sandy air at high velocities and this abrasion has worn the paint off)

Very nice, I use almost the same scheme You could wash the bone parts with a brown wash (Agrax Earthshade e.g.) and then refresh the bone color on the edges and elevated areas to give it more depth.
