Hi all,

So was given these by a friend who found them and figured I might like them due to playing W40k.

My question is, what/who are they? Old school W40k? Rogue trader? Something else?

Thanks in advance.

They are scout marines ( from Advanced space crusade). Guy in the middle is carrying a Heavy Bolter.

They have a very Space Wolf look to them, don't they?

It never ends well

For the guy who leaves it all on the field (because he doesn't pick up after the game).
Keep on rolling

In this day and age they remind me of the house troopers from the dune sci-fi reboot. They had metals in that range, too. Nice score.

Used to have a bunch of these guys.

The game i got them from was Tyranid Attack, which was probably the same thing as ASC.

They were space wolf scouts boarding a tyranid hive ship.

Good times.

I actually can't recall, but here are the original sprues

I have a whole bunch of 'em. ASC or Tyranid Attack could be. They seem cast from around that era!

Cool, thanks team.

Guess I'll clean that flash off them and give them a coat of paint or two.

PS: That one in the middle is a heavy bolter? Wow.

ALL heavy weapons on marines back then were shoulder fired.

Missile launchers, heavy plasma gun (plasma cannon these days), multi-melta, lascannon, heavy bolter, conversion beamer.

Yeah, these date back to the RT period, like original space hulk, too.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

I painted up a squad of these for my Crimson Fists a while ago, they painted up pretty nicely actually:

They've got better detail on them than a lot of models from that era.

Check out my Youtube channel!

Yup, I have two five-man squads from Tyranid Attack, too. They pretty much ooze 90's GW.

Hooray, nostalgia!

Paint those scouts up and field them!

You'll get a positive reaction from all the grognards, and you can hone your 'back in the day' lecture for whippersnappers!

So cool.

Nice work on the Crimson Fists ones...

I'll definitely find a use for them,
