I'm not a huge fan of some of the Sisters' models, but I like their story, and I think this would be pretty cool. They wear power armour, so why not the same power armour as the dudes? This gets rid of the boob armour issue too, which is great. I'm thinking particularly about using the Veterans and the Veteran Sternguard kits, and probably some Inquisition models too.

Yes. They may be built a little large but they are still in power armor and the only thing female about them are the boob dents in the armor which honestly if you think about it are not very necessary. I would say it would work. Google it im pretty positive that someone has already done that. Looking at some artwork you might be able to use wytches from dark eldar to make those conversions.

My only worry would be that the woman heads would really stand out on the bulky space marine armour. Try one and see if they look okay.

YOLO. Automatically Appended Next Post: How much will I have to convert the models? Do the Sisters use purity seals and Imperial Eagles? What heraldry will I have to add to the models to make them Sisters? I think I'll need to look at a lot of artwork and stuff before I start this project.

But yeh did some looky myself for funsies, window shoppin!
So stuff like feathers like those you can get from fantasy kits, check some bits sites, I think you'd be able to grab a nice amount of icons and so forth for a reasonable price
OH WOW!
although, having taken a look, im starting to see some awesome sisters made from fantasy leg bits and DE torsos.
Oh wow have a google there are some sweeeeeet conversion ideas out there!

I used these guys: http://www.wargamesfactory.com/webstore/dreamforge-games/eisenkern-stormtroopers-20-man
with female heads, space marine backpacks and bolters. They are thinner than marines, with quite deep chest plates, but without the annoying boob armour.
Be aware that in the images you posted, scout chest armour is used, rather than actual marine armour.

To be fair, the Sister's power armor doesnt actually look bulky enough to... be power armor. There has to be something under all those armor plate to do the power-ing.
Sisters just look like they are wearing metal corsets. Your models look right.

Annoying boob armour? Haha lame. :-P Dont like the idea myself. Sm armour is too bulky for females.

When you say females, what species are you referring to? Assuming you're talking about humans like the rest of us, they are known as women. And boob armour is ridiculous. It's completely ridiculous, it's entirely impractical, and at worst it is a fetishisation of the whole military nun thing. The conversions of Sisters in proper armour look badass.

Ah yes, I think you are right. Still, they are not significantly smaller than the Marine torsos, so the armour will look of an equivalent size. I like the extra detailing too.

I don't know about those exact ones, but you can get very similar ones from the Dark Angels upgrade kit. Personally I like the kitbashed Sisters posted by @Solar Shock, but power armoured ones would look very badass indeed

Is 'Eavy Metal Calling?

It's not HE (I tried to mimic that with some HE legs and they were to small). Possibly Empire Flagellants, as the torn hems have been GSed over.
