So my local store is planning to do a pseudo journeyman league. The modification is instead of starting with a Battle Box we start with 11pts. So my theories are...

These are my theories. I realize there are a bunch, but I've never actually used Retribution before at present. Ideally I wanted to use Issyria as my primary caster, but she's really not cut out for 11pts. So these are my other 2 caster choices. Any feedback on which direction one would recommend. To give insight the meta here is more heavily Warmachine, and has Khador as the most played faction.

Even with a custom battle box you are still limited to Battle Group only and no character jacks. So the first three and last two lists would be illegal.

I'll have to double check then, cause the guy setting it up just said "11pts," with that limitation that makes things even harder and more annoying.

The Journeymen league rules are set up where you start with a battle group, custom battle box or not, and work from there. So the first week its jacks and caster only.

Well in discussing it with the guy running it the rules are just 11pts, and those 11pts have to carry over. No restrictions on Character Jacks, or excluding units.
