Just want to hear everyone's thoughts and opinions on which models they're going to use and how they are planning on playing them :-)

I'm probably going to run two of the new tyrannocytes one with a toxicrene and another loaded with zoeys complete with nuerothrope because he actually looks like a contender. Maybe even a sporocyte.

So what about you guys?! How do you like the new nids and how are you planning on running them?

So far for me, ordered 2 tyrannocytes and waiting for the campaign book to drop.

I'm still not convinced by the toxicrenes as dimacherons are better in almost everyway ( providing they are in synapse range.)

Neurothropes have a lot of pottential especially coupled with deathleaper assasin brood!

I already have a pair of painted plasma hatcher eggs from my Mycetic Spore days, but I can see myself getting a Tyrannocyte or 2 anyway because they open up the army so much. Heck, I can even see uses for the Sporocyst and Mucloid Spores. If I did get the box though, I'll probably model the Tyrannocyte as the Sporocyst though because it looks super-fragile on its tentacle legs, and I might get some Mieoctic Spores from Forge World to proxy as Mucloids.

As for the other things, I can see myself getting a Toxicrene at some point, if only to paint the squashed Terminator like my opponents' chapter. I don't really need more Venom/Zoanthropes though, so I might just ebay the Neurothrope if the rules are up to snuff.

Need to get some Zoanthropes and Venomthropes as I still despise resin.

Might get Toxicrene as model is awesome but at the same time Dimachaeron is also awesome looking and stats show it's better.

Tyrannocyte is pretty nifty, need to get some.

I think that with bids getting their drop pods back it will really shake up the meta with having 20 gaunts or an MC pop up right in your face.

The plastic Zoes are a big boost for me. Means I can add them in now, was not use the finecast disasters.
