This is my planned iron hands list that I am looking at buying and assembling. I would like some advice as in my experimentation with counts as for designing this list I have not been entirely convinced that I have the list optimized fully.
1) The combi melta on the sarges are not bad but considering I cannot charge turn 1 I am considering combi grav so that turn 1 I can scout up and nail a few MCs (which the list somewhat struggles against). Or perhaps combi plasma so that I can get better shots when I DS or outflank and have better anti MC. The melta does however come in very handy against imperial knight lists as I often have multiple angles with all of these units and they help crack transports and keep serpents jinking.
2) Would I be better off with a MotF from clan Rakuin with a stone and replace the rapiers, 1 land speeder, ADL, and the scorpius for a landraider achilles to stick the MotF and a scout squad in it. This would make a lot of my vehicles have a 4+ IWND and gives some pretty great anti infantry but I loose a lot in anti vehicle and MC firepower in return. I also loose my reserves manipulation which allows incredile flexibility when you have 12 units which can DS or outflank.

Are there any other concerns or comments?

I usually put the MotF into the rapier unit which is kept near the sicaran (usually). Depending on whether the opponent wants to close with me or not I will put the other tanks on the other side of my deployment zone. If I get second turn and my opponent has a heavy alpha strike I will outflank or DS the landspeeder storms. The scouts can either be used to cause movement disruption or take objectives. I usually depend on the speeders more to claim objectives just because they are faster and a HF is pretty good at clearing light units from objectives. If I get first turn this list has a pretty severe alpha strike. The tank traps are nice to buy a few extra turns against imperial knights and some of the more annoying close range vehicles.
