I'm getting ads showing up, in spite of my DCM status and disable ads setting. I verified my DCM status, it's listed as good until May next year. I tried disabling, then re=enabling the setting, and logging off and back on.

The ads I'm seeing don't look like wargaming ads either, don't know if that will help debug. I'm seeing things like "Post you Jobs on Indeed" and "Agents NFL". Nothing that looks like it's dakka specific. Also, they're not consistent - sometimes I see them, sometimes I don't, seems intermittent.

I've always had the occasional one slip through but I only have them turned off because it looks smarter so it never bothered me. I do appear to have them quite a lot today though. Certainly right now there is an advert for 'Miniature Wargaming - Order All Your Card Game Needs Order Online Today' at the top of the page. Looks like one of those Google ones, white background blue header text, right?

Google ads are currently showing on the forum section even with ads disabled - it is a bug I need to fix, my apologies for that. All other ads should still be blocked though. They are only shown 1/3rd to 1/2 of the time, which is why it is inconsistent.
