Orks Formation ALLIES:

That's my best idea. Sucks but I think it might confound some folks.

LoW provides Fearless to green tide until it pops. With luck, the stompa provides enough target priority to allow the boys to get into assault by T3. Unfortunately, that means only two things die by T5 and the boyz only can try to pick the secondaries. Theres no real way that this list can table someone and they'd be very vulnerable to tarpitting.

MFF is disembarked for Turn 1 unless there is something that can snipe him. Providing 4++ to a bubble that would include the stompa. Painboy attaches to Green Tide. March / Run for 2 turns. Then chop...

I got pretty furious with my first GT list. This one is a little better methinks...

Keep in mind I try to keep bringing 180 boyz to grand tourneys and it never... ever... ever... works.

Well it will be fun, but I would worry about making it past turn 4. If someone gets on the objectives early and gives you tarpits/speed bumps you have to deal with you could have issues. Hell just playing at a reasonable speed and forcing you to get in fights with your huge mobs and roll all the dice etc could eat up turns.

But it wll be fun to watch the stompa blow up. How are you arming it?

MFF as in the Mega Force Field?

In which case your list is illegal.

Orkimedes' Kustom Gubbinz are only available to units in Detachments or Formations from the Waaagh! Ghazghkull supplement.

From your setup it looks like you're using a CAD (which means you can't use MFF), instead you should be using the Great Waaagh! Detachment, in which case you need an Elite choice.

Hey Grendel,

Thanks for pointing that out.

In that case I have a question regarding Waaagh! Ghaz or other supplements. You are saying you CANNOT make a CAD from a suppliment like Farsight Enclaves, Iyanden, Whaagh!Ghaz or whatever UNLESS it's an acceptable FOC in the supplement?

I am asking out of ignorance... so don't get upset please. I've wondered this for a while.

And I would just give the mek a KFF instead and add some more PKs....

@Rikoche: Just standard stompa load out. 770. No riggers or extras.

The older 6th ED supplements like Iyanden will have much different wording than the newer 7th ed ones.

The newer supplements like Ghazghkull (Space Wolf, Grey Kngith etc) all have very specific wording when it come to picking relics.

Here's the wording, it's in the section just before the rules for the Gubbinz.
"Any units from a Detachment or Formation presented in this book that can select Gifts of Gork and Mork cannot select from those listed in Codex: Orks, but can instead select from Orkimedes' Kustom Gubbinz..." A CAD is not a Detachment presented in that book, it's presented in the BRB. The Great Waagh! Detachment on the other hand is (as are all the Formations in there).
