Just added two units to my Kings of War "Bad Guy" army (KoM with AbDwarves and Undead allies). I'm always on the lookout for unique and cheap options for expanding my army. The Knights are Battlemasters figs that I sourced from a buddy and from my own copy of the game. The Warjacks I acquired via tradeing with a friend and a FLGS auction.

6 Warjacks, which I will run as Lesser Obsidian Golems.

Did a fair amount of conversion on these to make them all armed with close combat weapons (some had guns) and to make each one a bit different from the others. They were a breeze to paint (they've only got 4 colors or so). I dipped them, but only brushed matte varnish over the red sections, so the metal sections have a nice shine to them.

Also 6 Chaos Knights which will be run as "Kingdoms of Man" Knights and a Mounted General or "The Capitain".

A buddy painted these up for me in exchange for some minis.  He did a pretty good job bringing some character to these rather simple figs.

Lots more pics and details about them here:

Those Warjacks really fit the Abyssal Dwarf style. It's good news you could pick them up second hand, otherwise that would have been one pricey unit.

The knights are lovely too. Thanks for sharing

Thanks! The warjacks do work well with the Abbysal dwarves style, but i really picked them because they look to me like construct versions of these guys...

…which are one of the core units of my army. They could be brothers!

As to the price, I never could have afforded them at MSRP. I probably spent about the cost of 6 of the Mantic models (or one Warjack) on these. Definitely. worth it.
