I was curious as to exactly what size of rare earth magnets would work best for MEQs. Not sure on the size of the ones I have currently, but I feel as if they will be to large.

Also, would it be over kill to do all the troops in my army? (90+ gh/bc/wg) or is that just over kill and masochistic?

For bases or weapons?

Weapons.

For bases I've pin drilled and corked them all.

I've found that 2mm magnets are a good fit for MEQ shoulder, and a tight fit for wrist mounts. 3mm could work for swapping arms, but would not fit for hands.

For your basic marine, I'd not bother. Just easier to build a few extra boys. Sarges and bikers, probably worth it.

Ah then no advice from me. magnetizing infantry arms is too much of a pain.
