So I have only been playing Cryx for about 6 months and only with pDeneghra but I have been having some good success. Now I want to branch out but before I drop some money on a whole new army list I thought I would get some feed back. So here is what I was thinking for a new list:

Mortenebra & Deryliss
Deathjack - 11
Harrower - 9
Leviathan - 8
Slayer - 5

Bloat Thrall - 2
Warwitch Siren - 2
Warwitch Siren - 2

The plan is to have Mortenebra always stand base to base with the Leviathan to make sure I can always get the most out of its Spiker gun. Deryliss cast either Overrun or Terminal Velocity depending on what is more important that turn and the Harrower and Slayer do their best to draw attacks from Deathjack. I have the Sirens to keep the jacks working efficiently while the Bloat Thrall does it's best to clear groups of infantry.

It's not a complicated plan but I think it will be an effective one. Now I know most people shy away from jack heavy lists with Cryx but this seems to be a good mix of mildly tanky jacks with a strong amount of damage. I can clear infantry with the Harrower and Bloat Thrall, I can kill jacks and heavy units with Deathjack and Leviathan and the Slayer is just very cost effective at 5 points.

I have considered taking 2 Necrotech's instead of the Bloat Thrall but I've never really seen repairing jacks workout that well. In my experience the jacks are either working fine with little damage or are destroyed. Yes some ranged attacks on the jacks could knockout a system but I'm just not sure the chance to repair damage outweighs the field control the Bloat Thrall brings.

Pretty sure the slayer is 6 points. Other than that pretty annoying list. Since you play cryx ill assume that's what you are always hoping to achieve lol. Never seen anyone play black ogruns or blood gorgers(the only not annoying cryx units).

Slayer is 6 unless you go with the Infernal Machines - Tier 3 - theme where all Helljacks have their cost reduced by 1 point, but yes annoying is always the goal!

And I thought it was op at 6 points lol. But seriously though never even seen those 2 units in an online battle report. Its always banes, mechthralls and satyix.

I actually like Morty out of tier more, but it can be a good skew list.

People tend to build her tier more for slayer spam, 5 points is dirt cheap and if you have enough, one will get through.

Watch terminal velocity, only Morty can cast it because of its range, so DJ and deryliss can't. Mostly they sling overrun, spectral steel around (buffed ghostly).

I think the issue you'll see is if you play someone with a lot of fast troops your jacks will get jammed out, or worse, they might get the alpha and knock out critical systems.

It might be worth looking at double crab jacks too (2 harrowers, 2 Levis), since they can double down on their assigned roll, and can keep Morty nearby to protect her from LOS.

Also, it's not out, but Morty is gonna love her some Inflictors. Shield guard? Great for her since she never camps focus. Crit poisen? Terminal Velocity and her feat say yes.
