Those are some great looking Tyranids, I like the yellow and black scheme. I don't collect Tyranids but if I did I would probably go with something like that.

Not long after this game I watched Nick demolish a top tourney necron list with command barges and all the regular tesla.. green tide is a HARD counter to a LOT of lists. VS mine I need to play my best and get a bit lucky which I seem to do often enough haha.

tough break on the Orks man but great final couple of turns - that was sick! 3 tyrants, barbed and a Dima surrounding xxx boys?! thats a rad finale! Mumma always said to devour your greens!
Edit: - I agree stomp is a little silly on things like knights because of how cheap they are but a barbed pays it's right to have such a naughty rule.

Couldn't the malanthope have challenged out a character, hopefully beat him then confer the preferred enemy bubble? (said he couldn't reach because they were hiding in the back).

Mal has to be part of a combat where the enemy is completely destroyed or runs away before he gets PE. Just killing a character in a challenge would not suffice to activate his PE bubble.
Been out of the game for awhile, trying to find time to get back into it.

Not actually true. The Malanthrope has to be "involved in any close combat which results in an enemy unit or units being destroyed in combat" for his Prey Adaptation ability to trigger. So if a Flyrant killed a Warboss in a challenge as part of the same Close Combat, then the ability would go off.
