Thinking of fielding this in my next game.

Wraithstar-
Archon w/ Webway Portal and Shadowfield in a Venom

Farseer using Runes of Battle
Farseer using Telepathy
10 Wraithguard with DCannons or DScythes (Depending on opponent's list)

Both seers join the Wraithguard and start in reserve. Archon flys up the board, drops Portal, Wraithstar arrives on turn 2. Archon joins the unit so that he's the closest model to the scariest enemy unit on the board. If more than one, keep the seers on the outside so hits can be Look Out Sirred to the Archon. Pop invis and then the RoB power that lets you reroll all saves.
Majority toughness 6 2+ rerollable invul save with 18" threat range STR10 AP2 Distort weapons, or Majority toughness 6 2+ rerollable invul save with 12" Threat range STR4 AP2 Distort flamers.

With points left over, Avenger Serpents and Wraithknights galore.

Peregrine - If you like the army buy it, and don't worry about what one random person on the internet thinks.

600+ points that will probably destroy 1 unit when it comes in, then be an 18" bubble of can't touch this.

Or they bunch up, you kill one unit, then eveything else charges. Yes, t6. But not s lot of melee attacks for 600 points.

Scary but scary expensive.

^^This. However, the basic idea is the same. It's doable, but limited mobility is an issue. They'll murderlate anything they're near the turn they come down, then what? If your opponent has half a brain and any mobility he runs away from a turn and ignores your 700 pt deathstar for the rest of the game. 18" threat range on the guns is ok but you'll be pretty well hard countered by DE/Eldar lists, especially MSU. Even MSU lists with no mobility will be an issue, as you're only hitting one target a turn.

Wraithstar can be fun, but I wouldn't say it's top tier competitive. You'll stomp several lists easily, but get hard countered by just as many. DS'ng a unit of fire dragons or WG is pretty standard now, but only as a suicide squad. WG don't have the range, or resilience to make a good base for a deathstar.

It is forbidden to kill; therefore all murderers are punished unless they kill in large numbers and to the sound of trumpets.

You can simply eliminate the mobility issue by dropping them where they need to be/stay. Like on an opponents objective. Personally I like the flamers for offense and defense.
