Okay, so I've wanted to make a custom Defiler for quite a while now and have played with a lot of ideas, trying to get one that seemed just right for what I want. I've gotten close, and wanted some feedback from other modelers.

This picture is, very loosely, the look I'm going for. Obviously the final product will look very different, even using these components, but this is a rough idea.

I'm not sure about the hands yet, so if anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them.
I also need a cannon I can mount on his back for a battle cannon.

The legs and arms are way bigger than the body. Your cut and paste is a great idea, but those parts won't go together like you want.

If you could mechanize a carnifex torso and cut up a wraithknight head you'd be closer to what you're looking for

Eh. That's what I was afraid of. I meant to ask for scaling help in the first post.

Oh well. Back to the drawing board.

Yeah, cool idea, but outside of Photoshop, the main body's too small in scale to the hands/legs :(

Have a look at the WHFB monster range for a different torso/head - something there is likely to be the right size, and still give the cybernetic vibe you're apparently going for.

I say try it. I put a crypt ghoul body on csm legs and thought itd be too small, but it worked fine. Plus, its chaos. For the arms id use the actual defiler claws. They look ace
