I had found a company called Eureka that sold some rather good amazons (namely the naked ones not the armoured ones) but they are pretty expensive all things considered (to me at the moment)

$2.65 US per miniature is already pretty cheap. I don't know if you are going to find something matching this very specific look with a cheaper price point. You might look for second-hand products, but unless it is mass-produced plastic, you are going to be hard pressed to find models a whole lot that's cheaper. Conceivably there could be some out there for around $1.00-$1.50 per miniature, but with such a specific niche...I wouldn't hold out much hope.

Well one never knows, it is indeed worth a try, but at least its not GW's prices...

Foundry do a few Amazon packs, though they aren't likely to be much cheaper (I'm not checking from work )

Always good to check one's options, I saw the same company that makes the more armoured Amazons makes like awesome Araby-style models for fantastic prices so maybe I ought to get them first and focus on the Amazon-nudity when I have more money lol

Have some idea's already for an Araby army (eg using the Bretonnian rules, I donno if they can take Magic Carpets, I hope so)
I had considered writing Arabic verses from the Koran or instead writing ones from a food menu and seeing if anyone ever notices (I mean the Koran ones wouldn't make much sense in context to warhammer fantasy)

Eureka have an official US distributor who list the amazons at $2.30 US each and would have cheaper shipping rates to Canada that the AU site. They also list pretty much all of the amazons as out of stock though so you might have to wait a while.

Maidenhead miniatures did a range of similar figures but they seem to be defunct now. You may still find some around.

Well then either I must wait and make that Araby army or the armoured greek looking Amazons.
And hopefully when my B-Day rolls around they'll be back in stock.
