So, been looking at the new Nid rules and people seem to be excited about taking Multiple Tyrants.

I have kind of gone back an edition with this but thought it was worth a shot.

What do you guys think?

Not much in the way of models but assuming all the Tervigons come in T2 in someones face and spawn, could be interesting...

Was toying with sticking a Malenthrope or 2 in a pod as well to give the mass gaunts a better cover save behind the pods but not sure that would work...

Against knights etc I suppose I could just lock them in combat for the entire game while the Tervigons get to work on some other stuff....

Cheesy I know, but hey, what could possibly go wrong with 5 Tervigons...

Are you running a double CAD?

Why not take the extra Tervigon as a Troops choice instead?

No its a detachment from the new book, 3 HQ's allowed.

I don't think you nessisarily need the Warriors, you have a boatload of durable Synapse...those points could let you grab a Veno or three...

Also if you are using the new FOC then all the gribbles ect are not Obj Sec anymore. I'd suggest using 4 Tervigons insted with reg CAD use extra pts for Claws on all the Tervigons and a Malan or two for the gribbles or more warriors or a Veno+Zoanthropes for more WC.
