So End Times stupidity ensues after everyone gets Lore Master I see no reason why you wouldn't auto include a light council to every list and this is Tyrions Brolock bus extravaganza using leaked rules (thanks to Mixer86 for showing me):

So that's 5 S8 banishments, decent chaff, brolock bus and Tyrion. If you don't have a magical weapon you don't stand a chance against Tyrion if you do he gets a 2++ ward . Just march around the board killing everything that doesn't get banished to death.

List won't work. The warlock bus works because of a wall of 1+ armour, striking at asf S6.

I have a wall of 1+ ok 1 dude has 2+ but Tyrions killing power plus BotWD should more than make up for that.

Ah yes stupid Tyrion isn't fast cav, saw M10 and just assumed so used to anything that looks like a horse = Fast Cav. Vanguard is no big loss, the free reforms is but I can use massed banishments to alleviate that by forcing aggressive play from my opponent.

The BSB isn't Fast Cav either. High Elves can't get any fast cav characters.

I don't see why you wouldn't stick him in some Dragon Princes. They can take WDB as a unit upgrade rather than a special character.

They are also 2 attacks each and WS5 Init 6 with 2+ vs flaming.

How can you put him in Dragon Princes?

Dragon Princes are form Caledor.

They are under the rule of Imrik, who is on Malekith's side.

Ergo, they are not a selectable unit for Tyrion's Host in Endtimes Khaine.

Plus base size and unit type are irrelevant you can join any type of unit (except monsters and flying) with any type of character, you only get a look out sir if you're the same type but base size is still irrelevant.

You didn't ask that. You asked how do you put Tyrion in Dragon Princes. Those were YOUR exact words. I told you how.

You asked how to get them in the same army after I replied.

Sorry but you still haven't told me how. They are units from different armies. If I asked how can you put Archaon in Demigryphs would you point out they are both Monstrous Cav and think that answers the question? If so then you didn't understand the question...

You're misinterpreting the meaning of "put him in the unit" and "get him in the army". You put him in the unit by displacing two models. You can't get him in the army though.

Those two phrases hold entirely different meanings and results. One is possible, and one isn't.

No. You just asked how you put him in. The unit. The scenario presented is a purely hypothetical one as you presented no semblance of realism to it. As such, I gave you a hypothetical answer. By claiming that the second question is identical to the first is no more than a lie. It is different as it presents a physical scenario. As such, a non-hypothetical answer is needed. This is how English works. I suggest you study it some more before you try to debate at this level.

i used the scenario presented. A hypothetical situation of how you put Tyrion in the unit. The answer to that is to displace two models.

If the question used any semblance of the situational limitations the rules placed upon it, I wouldnt have given that answer.

The question was clear enough "how (i.e. what rules do you use) can you put him (Tyrion) in (i.e. within the unit) Dragon Princes". Your inability to understand plain English should mean you shouldn't be trying to give people rules advice as you are clearly incapable of understanding either the question or the rules which need to be used to answer it.

Pretty sure that a model from one army can't, under normal rules, join a unit from another. So even in your supposed hypothetical situation, you're breaking rules.

The question is how do you put him I. The unit. I told you how. He has a 50mm base. You displace two models. As for the hypotheticality of the situation, it's valid. Hypothetical situations are by definition antonyms of real situations. The rules that would apply in reality so not apply to these imaginary scenarios. You posed a hypothetical question as to how you put Tyrion in a unit. I gave you an exact answer of how you do that.

As for your correcting me on the English language, please learn the difference between the question of "how do you put x in y?" And "how do you get x in army y." Because it doesn't take that much brainpower to realise they're both very different. Even myfive year old nephew realises this. And yet you don't. What does that imply about you?

This is an impressively goofy argument, even measured by standards lowered by years of Internet pedantry. Come on you guys, seriously, look at yourselves.

As to the original list, I'm curious how it would actually play out, given the added wrinkle in ET times magic. Everyone was pretty fired up about global Loremaster, but the random casting dice is a weird one to wrap your head around.

Having now read the rules, I believe 1 caster can cast banishment until they fail to cast or run outta dice. So you want 1 designated level 4 caster with some extra bonus, and a backup choir of lvl 1s on light to boost the strength.

My thought is a lvl 4 sorceress with sacrificial dagger, as my read is that lets you exceed the random casting dice (by 1). If not a book of hoeth archmage seems reasonable.

Yeah I hadn't read the full magic rules when writing this list. You need a Lvl4 Sac Dagger is a good shout, though Book is probably a better bet in a unit of expensive models like Cavalry.
