As a Dwarven Forge backer, I can still use more 2x2 tiles for larger floorplans!
My own guess is that by limiting the number of plastic injection molds, they can keep the costs down.

EDIT: If you're international, take a look at Dungeon Tiles by Walter. The creator said international postage will be ten bucks. Usual "one man KS" caveats apply.
We have made them Double-sided!
The Stones Dungeon pattern is still on the one side but a grid has been added to the other side so now it can be painted like dirt, mud, sand and so on yet still maintaining the anti-slip function and has a double-sided use! We are also going to design a Caverns Accessories Set to go along with it and offer it as an add-on, so you can add rock formations, stalagmites, growth and so on by placing them right on the tiles! Remember these are just prototypes/WIPs, but it gives you an idea of what is to come.

FG's selling the treasure hoard for $19 + $3 USD shipping.
The Reaper treasure hoard miniatures go for about $3 per miniature, so would be $30+ retail before shipping. The Reaper mini's are in metal, while the FG ones are metal or resin.
I didn't find barrels or crates on the Reaper site.

At the $70,000 level we see the addition of this very Grand 10"x12" (cast in two 10"x6" sections) room which will be complete with ruined pillars and stone debris, a treasure hoard, and pile of gems, bones and other detailed items throughout. All you have to do is add your favorite dragon or other large monster!

OGRE LAIR -- Unlocked!
At the $65,000 level we will see the addition of "Mawg" the Gorger and his detailed 9"x8" cave-like den, which will include such details as a trash heap, ogre bedding, a fire pit with cooking spit, pile of discarded bones, and other debris! Mawg is a collector of sort,s and his miniature (who is being sculpted by the talented Jason Wiebe!) will reflect this as well as his room. The new room and the Ogre miniature will be offered separately.
Here are some notes that were sent to and discussed with the sculptor to give you and idea of where we are going with Mawg The Gorger and his Ogre Den:
Characteristics: trap-setter, loves to eat
Appearance: muscular with big belly like a biker pointed teeth (filed to a point); bone hanging out of teeth like toothpick; hair: natural dreadlocks, matted, messy with bones stuck in it, chin hair with bones stuck in it; Fork, knife, etc. on belt; pots strapped to clothing, furs on body; weapon: tree trunk with swords sticking out; Den: fire for cooking; bones, traps garbage heap, bed is pile of various furs/skins, large boulder blocks entrance to den.
