ladies and gentlebugs for a while ive been playing with chaos now and ive always loved cypher ive finally got the models together and have cypher and 30 marines(all in da vet cloaks) so i am working a list arounf them now
its not a tournament list but i do want it to be competitivie

Am i reading correctly? U have cypher but not the 3x10 chosen with atsknf?

You're very correct i see no point what so ever to be giving atsknf to chaos marines.... or chosen being more expensive space narines with better access to weapons?

But that is the best part about using Cypher. I can not help you if you want to limit effectiveness due to fluff.

what kind of list would you run with cypher?

I believe you need another troops choice for that list to be battle forged. This army does not have enough power to fight unbound, you are not going to be wiping infantry squads.

I like the Chosen and they are going to be tough with ATSKNF. Am I correct to assume they cannot take marks or icons? If not, these units would be outstanding with +1 T or FNP.

I liked the plague hulk better than the autocannon havocs, but that's just me.

they can take marks but not as part of cyphers data slate formation, at curent that list is underpointed by a fair way so this is what i think will be my fiunal list. i thought if you ran a formation it makes the list act as a bound list??
