Holla!

I found the meganobz really good. I tend to use them in rokkit trukk to bring it the closest as possible on turn one to be able to disembark (if tge trukk is still there) and charge on turn 2. Normally in unit of 3 or 4.

I just order 9 more meganobz for a total of 15. I will now be able to play some bullyboy formation :-)

In general, i play 1000 pts games or 1500pts. I think the only other good way to play them is to put 3 meganobz in a BW with Grotsnik and a Mega armor warboss with tha lucky stikk... right? Thats around 500pts. Will you play this in a 1000pts game? Or how will you play them?

Plus, whats there best use? Tank killer? I play a lot against nids and i always strugle if i charge MC or regular nids troop elite or all other non MC shitsss...

Please give me your advice!

May the WAAAGH!!! be with you!

I generally just throw 3-4 in a truck and flat out it at whatever thing i need dead ASAP. even if the trukk explodes, they'll probably get close enough to deal with almost anything. If you want it more reliable, you can use a battlewagon. I find they work great against guard armies. I've had 3 meganobs charge a unit of 3 squadroned tanks. Know what happened? They became three squadroned craters.

For some reason i want to be able to field squadronned craters now.

And yep, i find manz missile - 3 manz with BP and sometimes a pair of killsaws - in a truck with ram doing good in almost any list. They work even with my footsloggas. And they're gona be even better in a mechanised speed freak list with lots of other trucks and wagonz floating around.

They are real Swiss Army Knives. They are good at everything and, with a Truk and smart use of covers, very mobile.
MC, Fortifications, AT. Even LoW... Because that's a lot of S8/9 AP2 attacks to deal with.

But as already said in many topics, never field them on foot. This is the worst use of them.

10 Meganobz and Mega Big Mek with MFF and SAG with the Mad Dok slogging along between two full kanz squads screened by some grots and with a couple dakkadakka jets and one truck boy squad in reserve.

I know it wouldn't be too good but it sounds cool.

Or instead of Grotsnik maybe another San.. Cause SnP is cool.

I am the kinda ork that takes his own washing machine apart, puts new bearings in it, then puts it back together, and it still works.

Can't get megamek with SAG. Though, you don't need to - the squad's gona be snp till at least one MAN lives.

MANZ missiles are pretty classic. Koooaei ALWAYS has solid ork advice, but I'm going out on a limb. I am running this lately:

MegaMek with KFF (or MFF) and KMB or shoota

5xMegaNobz w KombiScorchas (45ea) +
- battle wagon with Ram and Big Shoota.

I HIGHLY recommend kombi-skorchas on your Megas.... I just love placing that template out of the forward corner of my wagon over some terminators that think they are bad assess then I say. "Ok it looks like I hit five of them. Let's see... Oh I have five skorchas.... So that's.... uh 25 auto hits ignoring cover...." <start counting dice 1 by 1>

mwaaahahahahah!

I highly advocate the MFF. Something about a 4++ that screams HALF.

HALF, just isn't something orkz have had the luxury of lately.

I'm doing this in an ongoing 640 point (teaching a friend) game. My MFF mek's Nob's are hard to remove in a small game..

Note, however, that it comes with mandatory elite and a nerfed mob rule.

Throwing Rokks is a good taktik with meganobs - 3 in a trukk, throw at the enemy. if he ignores it, they rip him apart. if he kills it, he'll probably have to sink a lot into it.

Footslogging meganos suffer from not being able to run. one way to help lessen this issue is to put a mek or painboy on a bike into the unit. the biker will be able to leap forward when you get to the enemy, and his longer base with 2" coherency will take 4" off your charge range. until then he can lurk in the unit and supply some S5 twin linked firepower to take potshots at fliers and rhinos - it's not like you were going to be running this turn! having a warbike would also let your mek take the megaforcefield and SAG, and still be relentless if he ever wanted to split off.

if you're running an expensive unit of meganobs (IE with megaboss and grotsnik and MFF) and you want them to stand a good chance of getting to the enemy, I'd invest in a killkrusha. double the points of a battlewagon for more hullpoints, an immunity to all results, a big gun, some smaller guns, and the most important part: +1 to the thunderblitz table. that's like having a deffrolla all over again, but with AP! it's also fast (The unruled "mega charged engines" add 6" to flat out, nowhere does it say a superheavy moves differently to a normal vehicle, so 12" move, 12" flat out). not too shabby, eh?
