Great Battle Report, aslo remember if Urian is taken from the Coven detachment he gains Fearless, he doesn't use the normal Dark Eldar chart. So you never had to make that morale check.

Cool to see D. Eldar seriously taking people to school lately in battle reports.

Almost every D. Eldar match up I see it favors them

If I lose it is because I had bad luck, if you win it is because you cheated.

Another really great battle report showcasing how potent the Grotesquerie can be. I was really interested in how the Grots didn't necessarily kill a lot of units this game but they had excellent board control as your opponent had to move his Centstar away from them and ended up moving his death star right into a face full of Psychic Shriek. Great job and I enjoy seeing the different power combos that the new DE can field. I think Coven units (except maybe Wracks) are really good now and I wouldn't leave home without at least one formation from the supplement.

You're exactly right! The Grots really do have awesome board control and are extremely hard to kill. Had the centurians gotten into combat with them they would have either been tied up for the remainder of the game or slowly picked apart. If you watch a previous battle report VS the Tau, the same thing occurs. Grots flat out toward the enemy lines which forced TWO riptides to run away towards my DE/eldar MSUs which were able to pick them apart.. Unfortunately psychic shriek didn't do so well VS their invul saves. Poison however did

As you said, the DE have a whole new host of tricks and tactics up their sleeve with their new release and the coven release, from moral shenanigans to nigh unkillable monstrosities from the haemonclus' coven. It makes me excited to get some more games in with them

Anyway, glad you guys enjoyed the batrep! look for more to come : )

All very good points. Also, I've added your series of battle reports to my "must watch" list along with Skari and Table Top Tactics, because all of your videos do a great job of showing how good the new DE codex and supplement can be when used by a good player. Nice work!

I don't get why everyone is saying the DE have cool tricks now. They did nothing this game. I just watched this video and all I could see was the 500 points of eldar carrying the 1200 points of DE. The wave serpents and farseer killed the razorback, predator, dreadnaught, centurions, assault squad, most of the command squad, and tactical marines here and there. Not to mention the invisibility on the grotesques so that they couldn't really be targetted. Not to mention how many shots the wave serpents tanked. The dark eldar killed like 12 marines.

If I had to summarize the video, I would say look how badly the DE need eldar allies.

Great bat rep, really enjoyed it. According to your info you are from Nova Scotia so seems more appropriate to have Kitchen BatReps as living there myself for a number of years taught me all good things happen at kitchen parties.

Fill your cup up and chug

Sky- haha exactly! We couldn't risk the models being around such shenanigans :p

Bonachinonin - The Eldar definitely took on a lot of the ultramarine army and the farseer was definitely invaluable. That isn't to say the same result couldnt have came from running a full DE list. two serpents and a farseer = three msu venoms or 36 more shots plus blasters and the dark eldar also scored a lot of points for me, provided mobility to get into good position and gave me some solid board control, things that I hear were hard to do in the previous edition. I didn't really play much dark eldar before. Also power army isn't really the dark eldar's friend, really makes poison seem less powerful. But thanks for the comment!

Sweetbacon - Thanks for the kind words man! We appreciate the support and are glad you think that of our batreps.. or that they could be included alongside skari's batreps : p
