HI everyone, Im running a mostly militarum tempestus force with some bullgryn and assassins.

I will have 4 valkryies and 5 squads of 5 militarum tempestus along with 2 tauroxs a commisar and vindicare assassin and maybe some bullgyn.

I keep running into the problem of what upgrades I should give them especially for the tempestus themselves. I need weapons that will do a good job overall and be somewhat competitive all though I am aware that running just scions and the like will be more challenging.

Any help is greatly appreciated

So I would start by asking what roll, you want your tempestus to fill. Want anti vehicle, go melta, Want anti termi go plama, anti horde, flamers, marine killers grenade launchers. If you want an assault based squad, give em two assault specail weapons, and a vox, the turn you assault, the assault weapons fire, along with the vox and Tempestors pistol, and the one remaining guy with the Hot Shot throws a grenade, the whole squad shoots and assaults.

Your vehicles can also be used to plug up any holes in your army, picking between the various guns of the tauroxs and the two types of missles for the valkyries
