I made a model for this badass, and by god i wanna use him! He was a cool character in the last book, but was brutally cut from the line in the new edition. So, time to bring him back in style. Dark Eldar lack any kind of reserve manipulation, yet are dependent upon reserves, this seems like something the Duke could help fix. Always bet on the Duke.

Ws 6 Bs 6 S 3 T 3 W 2 I 6 A 3 Ld 9 5+ 150pts

Unit Type: Infantry Character

Wargear: Blast Pistol, Shadow Field, Plasma Grenades, Kabalite Armour, Combat Drugs.

Artifact of Cruelty:
The Serpent's Bite. The Duke fights with twin Venom Blades that exude a cocktail of the most virulent poisons he can get his hands on. These toxins can range from instantly lethal to strength sapping elixirs that leave the victim for the Serpent to take back to his pit
Range - S User Ap - Melee, Lethal Dose, Poison (2+), Serpents Venom (Any model that suffers an unsaved wound has it's Strength reduced by 1 for the rest of the game)

Special Rules: Fleet, Night Vision, Power from Pain, Independent Character

Low Orbit Raid: The Duke always arrives in style, and always comes equipped for the occasion.

The Duke must always start the game in reserve, embarked upon a dedicated transport. Roll for him to arrive normally, but roll for him before any other units arriving from reserve. On any turn the Duke arrives, all other units attempting to arrive from reserve that may re-roll to arrive. The dedicated Transport the Duke is embarked upon may re-roll the scatter dice when Deepstriking.

Contraband: The Duke has unparalleled access to Drugs pillaged from across realspace, and this is one of the two reasons he is so popular with the Wych Cults. The other is, of course, his dashing personality and charm.

Roll twice on the table for Combat Drugs and apply both effects to any model that has the Combat Drugs special rule.

He used to be the perfect utility HQ that could fit into almost any army, i have narrowed him down a little to keep his cost down, as i believe he was to good for what he used to do. But no he might help Wyches become something useful, make Reavers amazing (Boarder-line broken?). I don't overly mind about how powerful is if you think he needs a down grade, i just want to use my awesome conversion!

Would you bet on the Duke?
