Is there anyplace online that has detail on the fluff of the different factions or the units themselves? I just started playing the game so I'd like to get up to speed on the story and the like. I have no idea if there are any online resources like this.

Well, infinitythegame.com, the official page, has fluff blurbs to all minis.

Yeah, I've read over all that on the minis page. Looking for more in depth stuff. Thanks!

Those blurbs are generally the same thing said in the books, and the rulebooks are the only place you are going to find any additional fluff.

As said above. Fluff for a unit is put up on the miniature page when a unit is released. Faction fluff and story line fluff is in the books and only the book. We are more then happy to answer any question you have if we can. But, there is a reason we say "you buy the books for the fluff, pretty art, or just to support CB not for the rules".

There is also the Infinity RPG coming out summer-ish 2015 that should have a lot fluff. Hopefully have alot of everyday life fluff.

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor.
