Humm seems a little model light. Agreed that GKs have that dissadvantage but have seen 1k points with a few more models than this and with the shear amount of AP2 in the game those termies wont last as long

I know a guy who runs just the one baby carrier and a Stormraven. Not the best idea: I can't generally table him, but it makes doing so to the rest of his army simple and one flyer's not going to win the game alone.

As for this list: If you made the Paladins invisible I could have serious issues clearing them out... But that's the only major problem I'd have. I'd definitely suggest getting more feet on the ground to back up your crushing alpha-strike, because as is the game is all downhill from there after soaking the turn one losses. With four units on the table, threat prioritisation is easy, and every model I clear with massed fire and AP2 or rending takes a toll on your firepower.

Got a better idea...

Puts 15 guys on the ground, a DK, and a razorback with some heavy firepower, sounds good to me. You got the shooting power and you have the heavy beat down with those pali's. Can the guy with the banner hold a sword as well?

I do not think he can it states that the banner has to replace his melee weapon.

I like how the whole thing is set up got up in your face and a little bit of shooter too

If my roommate finishes putting his Blood Angels 100% together (namely an arm here, base there, I can run 1000 pt guard against him and see how that runs). But I imagine their a lot of melee, and GK are devastating enough so it will def be fun to see how that fight would go.

Honestly I would keep the two NDKs, they carry soooo much weight and can do so much damage. Take teleporters and Psycannon on both and take a Psilencer on one and incinerator on the other. They have yet to fail me. If you can, squeeze in the greatswords on both for the reroll too, because it can be pretty crucial. I love my duel NDKs. 30 inch move, and bam, in your face hatred turn one!

I understand that DK carry a lot of weight but the troop count is so low one thing goes wrong and and its like I cant recover with such low troop count

Yea i like that list pretty nice, our FLGS we have a number of people who run GKs with allies to suplement the downfalls (mainly AA and AT) most are guard or SM or like me Tau. but yea seems a fun list.

5 guys?

5 man Interceptor Squads with 1 melta bomb, 1 hammer, and 1 flamer can replace the Dreadknights for around 150 points per squad, and still get you places tactically / pop into objectives.

I'm just such a fan of the dreadknight though - it HAS to be dealt with. Maybe NDK with shunt/flamer for 180 points.

That was in 6th before they got nerfed

Yea, still learning 7th (when I left, it was still 5th edition)

NDK incinerator is still pretty boss
