I have an airbrush with a compressor. The compressor is very loud so I want to conserve air as much as possible.

There's a slow leak somewhere in my setup. If I turn off all the pressure on the compressor, the leak stops happening, so I know that's not the cause.

I suspect the problem is in the hose or the airbrush itself. I have tried pouring water on the hose to see if there are any air bubbles, but nothing is coming up. Any thoughts on the best way to check?

I use a Badger Anthem 155. If anyone knows about issues with leakage with those airbrushes, I would love to hear about them.

Most likely a connection somewhere - A little soapy water over the connections should bubble up where it's leaking.

If you're using threaded connections, a bit of PTFE tape will do the job in getting an airtight seal. I've acutally taken to using tape rather than o-rings for the majority of my airbrush assembly (cheap chinese airbrush, the o-rings really don't last long).

First thing I would check is that the needle is seated properly. Draw it back, give it a quarter turn, and push it firmly back into place.
