Should i as a csm and ork player be scared of this match up? The thing thats got me worried is the possible wraithknight and duel dk that i may have to go against

Super vague post. What matchup?

My apologies for the vagueness :p, my worries are mainly because he always takes the best units from the gk codex (dk ecr) which i find almost impossible to kill with my csm, and to through in a wraithknight just seems to me like there will be no way of winning especially for my csm, though im not sure with the orks

Ok, i'll try Translate the first post for people.

''I play Orks and Chaos Space Marines. I am at a loss as of how to deal with my Local Grey Knight meta player, he uses Duel Dreadknights and might be throwing in some Eldar allies for a Wraithknight. Any ideas on how to counter them?''

Without specifics about the models you own or lists you play, we can only throw general advise your way. Against the Dreadknights (Which we shall assume have a Teleporter and Heavy Incinerator) Plasma will help to no end, because he will happily teleport himself into double tap range while his Heavy Incinerator will bounce off power armour. I would also advise the Murder Sword, simply for positional dominance. A Chaos Lord on Bike with a Murder Sword has a reliable 18'' charge range, that's a large area the marked unit will not want to go anywhere near. Even if you don't get to charge the unit you marked, you have dictated where he moves. Put that Chaos Lord next to your squishy, expensive, plasma toting Havoks and the Dreadknight you marked won't want to get into incinerator range, and if he does, you MURDER him. Win/Win. Don't rely on Psychic Powers, you won't get them off against the average Grey Knight player.

Ork's have a harder time, with very little ranged AP 2 and no AP 2 at I, you will have a hard time vs the Dreadknights. Could someone else fill me in on how Orks handle Dreadknights?

Mob of boys, mek for challenges (can a dk challenge?) then a nice hidden PK to start tearing into him. Yeh hes gona incinerate quite a few boyz, but not much he can do about the hidden PK. Plus your likely to tie him up a turn or 2.

although not much ranged AP2? a battery of 30 pts plasma cannons at S8 AP2, blast im sure will ruin a GK's day? anyone used this much?
I mean if hes GK, you could potentially castle around your plasma battery, create some really awkward DS zones and give him barely any room to DS. Or atleast give yourself a grot shield in front for a measly 100pts. Then on your turn plasma a unit to obliteration with 5 plasma cannons, ammo runts for re-rolls. Then tie him up in combat. As koooai mentioned in another thread earlier (i think), The best thing about GK's is that they do the bit orks hate most - getting to the enemy. If he comes to you do what orks do best; get krumpin'.

Favourite Game: When your Warboss on bike wrecks 3 vehicles simply by HoW - especially when his bike is a custom monowheel.
