Just for friendly games really, a taking all comers list to head down to the FLGS in due time (once I get around to painting it)
so here's the list

Looks good for a friendly games list. The only things I would really change/add would be putting dark lances on your Raiders and Ravager. Also, I would prefer Blasters with your Warrior Squads instead of the Splinter Cannons. You will need more anti-tank and anti heavy infantry. You will have enough anti light troops weapons without the Splinter Cannons.
As far as the Archon- Shadow Field is a must take IMHO. That 2+ save is pretty impressive and cheap for what you are buying.
Other then that it looks like a good army to learn the Dark Eldar Codex with. When you are looking to expand you cant go wrong with Warriors in Venoms, Reavers and you seem to have already figured out the Scourges are awesome.

Get nightshields and dark lances for the raiders.
Give the Incubi a Transport.
Give the other Scourges Haywire Blasters as well.
Thats what i'd try and do, so long as you can find the points

Is the Shadowfield worth the 40pts? I have enough points to squish it in the 1000 but the 2++ leaves if the Archon ever takes an unsaved wound (am i reading that right?).
As for the blasters over Splintercannons, Can they be shot out of the Raider, in my head ( I could be very wrong) but the splintercannon can shoot out with the spliter racks.
The scourges are amazing, fast attackers with nice massive weapons, cant go wrong lol
@taffy17 - Nightshields and Darklances for all the raiders? Taking away the clone field for the shadow one for the archon, I can only squeeze in one nightshield on 1 raider but ill have just enough to push in 2 darklance's to get to exactly 1000 but then then the ravager will have to stick to its disintegrater cannons, OR I could leave the raiders with disintegrater cannons and push the dark lances on the ravager OR I can give them all dark lances but the raiders can't afford the night shields.

I'd put Nightshields on the Raider's, increases the durability of gunboats by a lot. I Dark Lance is a preference (I don't really bother at this points level, but it's worthy of consideration at higher points levels to help out scourges). Splinter Cannons on the troops are optional, without them, you'll still on average cause three unsaved wounds to MEQ. If you removed the Splinter Cannons you'll have enough for Nightshields. I would change the Heat Lance Scourges to Haywire Scourges if you go Disintegraters, but if you don't have the models Heat Lances are fine. The Incubi loadout you have is currently 70 points, not 90 (unless you have four Incubi?). Could make a few points for the Shadowfield and what else has been suggested. EDIT went on post I first saw. Dark Lances on the Ravager are generally better than Disintegraters. Nightshields too if you can find points for it. EDIT 2: You're currently on 1010. I would simply remove the Dark Lances on the Raiders (and personally change the Splinter Cannons to Nightshields).

I'd put Nightshields on the Raider's, increases the durability of gunboats by a lot. Yeah the Incubi is 3 incubi w/ 1 Klaivex for rampage with the archon so they are at 5 for the venom. so 3 inc at 60pts 1 klaiv for 30 = 90 i should have made that a bit clearer haha ><
so for the Kabalite just dont have any heavy/special weapons and put on nightshields for the gun boat?

I personally would, since Jinking currently doesn't affect passengers. With a 3+ Cover, you'll make the most of Splinter Racks before the Raider goes down. Splinter Cannon should only be used to fill up points IMO.

Also I wouldn't waste the 5 points for the Dark Lances on your Raiders is you are giving them Night Shields. They will most likely be Jinking every turn for that 3+ cover save because at this points level there isn't a lot your opponent can be distracted with. One Dark Lance shot hitting on 6's IMHO isn't as good as a "free" three shot disintegrator cannon.

Okay, I would like to point out that except as far as durability goes, the Archon is an inferior melee brawler than the Succubus (who for 95 points is a far superior killer w. the Glaive). So just keep in mind that you're buying a bully, not a frontline brawler here.

These are okay-ish. My big gripe is to note that you're spending 60 points on mild defense and damage boosts - which is already basically halfway to buying an additional unit of Warriors in a Raider (which, in my opinion, is a better defense and damage upgrade  ) I mean, if you trimmed the Archon to a Succubus you'd save 35, so that would be 95, save an extra 25 from that and we can have Warriors in a Venom w. a Blaster. Just saying.

These are okay, though I would advise against the Heat Lance build in favor of a Ravager.
This is also okay, though, again, I find the Nightshields a bit 'meh'. At the very least keep in mind that a jinked Ravager is already a useless Ravager - try to use the n.shields to augment already existing cover saves. Hide behind a ruin, get a 4+ an use the shields to make it a 3+. Try to avoid the jink.
Despite all my commentary I actually think this is an okay 'learners' force' I do think the most important lesson I can impart on you is that paying to boost a mediocre defense is not as good as paying to boost a decent offense. Also, DE are mediocre at defense and decent at offense - just saying

Your next purchase may/should be Reavers (x6) and a couple of Razorwings. And a Haemy of course.
WWP Archon w/Grotesque works fine as well.

I like night shields and Dark lances on my raider cause 1. they get a 3+ jink instead of 4+. and 2. it means your AT isn't all on one vehicle and because they're advancing all the time they can threaten side armour
