Need clarification and couldn't find a related article when I did a quick search. After being out for a while I'm getting back in to the game and bought a digital copy (big mistake) of the Space Marine Codex. While piecing together how I want to build my army I stumbled upon this and need some clarification. If memory serves, Storm Shields used to only provide an invuln save of the model carrying it was in close combat. However, the screenahot below does not differentiate. Does this mean that the bearer receives a 3+ invuln from both ranged and melee attacks??? While it does state that the model holding it does not receive an attack bonus for two melee weapons it fails to specify. Please clarify.

Storm Shield save is for both close combat and ranged, really useful when a lascannon has your termi squad in it's sights.

If it does not limit the save to a specific situation, then it follows the basic Rules for Invulnerability saves.
|
