Hey I was reading SRM's 2nd edition Ultramarine blog and I've noticed this terrain but, now that I am really getting into the hobby, (and that I will need a display piece for my display mat,) I have two questions.

How hard would it be to get either of these:

Spoiler:
Imperial Bastion:

Imperial Firebase:

Could you still buy one of these or would the fact that they are now rare really bump up the price and make it honestly only worth it to make your own at this point in time? As for the second question, are there any plans online to make these from scratch? I've been on google and I can't really seem to find anything on them.

Thanks.

They'll go on ebay for a lot. I'm sure the PDFs can be found online somewhere for the card pieces, and then the plastic bulkheads can be found on eBay.

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)

I wouldn't know about getting one - much less one in good shape -, but if building it is a possibility, Hyenajoe was doing a great job with his some time ago.

I drew inspiration - and blueprints - from his:

(still lacking proper doors, to say the least, but works on the tabletop)

Probably fairly hard.

Though since they used the bulkheads in some other kits you might be able to fin them.

You are better of making your own i think

Thanks all. You kinda confirmed my worries. I will continue my search for PDF's, and if some people find some guides before I do and post them here I will check them out. If my current projects are finished on time, I will try and make both of these from scratch and use them as the center of my gaming board.

EDIT: Someone sent me a drop box with the plans for a bastion.

I have a PDF for the Necromunda terrain, which was sold as a 40k industrial zone (I also own two of these)

I've been making extra sets and they're really good when mounted onto 1mm card

PM me if you want me to send it over

Okay, sure thing. I also sent that PM! I have a lot of terrain wip so it might be a while, and then a Stormraven scratchbuild to do but, once I get started I will post the link to my PM blog here.
