Was just curious if this was a good choice for terminators im playing Space wolves friday and wanna try em out

It depends what you're aiming them at/what your opponent is likely to bring!!

If you'll be coming up against high strength weapons (thunder hammers etc) then one of the other icons may be more worthwhile, Tzeentch perhaps.

However, the T5 really helps with foot slogging, giving you a little better odds against Bolter fire and the likes and is also pretty good if the Space Wolves player is a fan of Wolf Claws (is that what they call their lightning claws still?) on Wolf Guard Terminators!!

Something tells me that just more combi-plasmas are gona be better.

My plan was 4 Combi plasma and a Heavy flamer in a land Raider with Las cannons.

ALso what mark would you suggest?

Depends. Khorne ain't that bad. Slaanesh + Icon for fnp is good as an indep retinue and buffs durability a bit.

Personally, i'm not a fan of chaos termies in a landraider. I alwayz find power armor guyz accompanied by a beatstick doing better. While termies can deepstrike and combi-plazma something to death while still remaining cheap and dangerous to backline units.

Landraider itself ain't bad. It's just the termies inside that i find a bit underwhelming. Just compare them with a bunch of chosen. Chosen have more attacks and are almost 2 times cheaper. Yep, they're not 2+ and don't have power weapons stock. But usually 1 power fist and a character beatstick is enough to deal with what's there. Or a bunch of regular marines as ablative wounds to Kharne or even Abaddon. Some people like running plague marines cause they're tough and have poisoned weapons.

Termies have deepstrike. It's much more random than a landraider but still provides some interesting possibilities. Termicide squads are widely considered fine. Which is allready good for termies. You can use them to great effect this way if you're a bit tactical and lucky.

So Mark of Nurgles with 4 Plasma 1 Heavy flamer deep striking sounds fun.

Im going to be deep striking a squad of Plague bearers GUO and Termies should be a blast

I'd consider comms relay if you've got so many deepstrikers

If you are going to spend the points on a Land Raider, consider getting a Spartan Assault Tank instead. You can make that melta-resistant, which takes it's survivability to a whole new level.

MoN Terminators are good. If you really want to get the most out of them, consider a bigger squad. The other reason to think about the Spartan is that it can carry up to 12 Terminators.

MoN Terminators in an 8 man squad with combi-plasma and power weapons are no joke.
