My regular opponents include some fairly competitive marine (either chapter master and biker spam or msu razor spam) and guard players(usually a large yarrick blob backed up with artillery/russes or 5th ed style leafblower), as well as a suit spam tau player. There is also a mechdar/iyanden eldar player who has just got his 2 wraithknights painted up.

I have usually been using a less mobile list mostly revolving with some carnifexen and venomthropes/malanthropes. This has been getting out maneuvered by the faster armies and shot to pieces before I can do enough damage with my mid ranged weapons. I want to be able to start winning some gains against these guys. I was hoping the fast moving flyrants and deep strikers would help limit the advantage of their mobility. The sporefield infiltrating could limit where my opponent wants to move around.

Any suggestions? It feels a little light on model count so i was toying with the idea of either Deep Striking gargoyles or replacing the rippers with hormagaunts or termagants.

Some of this is just "style" but here goes. I would drop one Mawloc, and spend the points on two more troops, if nothing else two more Broods of DS Rippers for 90, I'd also want Thorax Hives on both Tyrants (Electro-bugs) It really is the best 20 points you'll spend. That leaves 20(?) points to spend someplace else...

I'd also want some bubble wrap for the Bunker, but that is a "meta" thing, you may not need it, but you might....

I contemplated with the idea of a lictor to sit in the bunker actually. That would give me +1 to bring everything in as well as a bubble to bring in the deep strikers without scatter (especially useful for mawlocs.) I dont plan on spending too much time by the bunker, except for a couple babysitters in the form of mines for the comms relay.

My biggest concern for your list would be the Zoanthropes+ Nero pods. In theory they seem to be good but I just dont feel the love with 10 WC. I'd drop one brood and replace with a Tyrannofex w electro. for the pod insted, nearly the same points easily covered with the spare 20 you have. I'd break the brood of 2 Zoes into 2 of one to keep your WC at 10.

Edit: oops to many heavies ok then take zoie + pod points + 20 spare and you have enough for 2 Crones. That boosts your airforce and allows S8 Vectors to use on nasties like wraithknights.

I like this idea a lot. This would look something like
Flyrant
Flyrant
1x3 Zoey's w/ neurothrope, tyrannocyte
zoey
zoey
Rippers w/ deep strike
Rippers w/ deep strike
Hive Crone
Hive Crone
Mawloc

Just to point out a 5th to 6th edition Nid Codex change, Lictors no longer add +1 to reserve rolls. :(

Only Swarmlord kept that.

I would suggest adding a Venomthrope to any fortification for that 6" increased shrouding bubble as Astro commented already. It's too good for 45 points. Since you already have 20 pts leftover, squeezing out the last 25 pts shouldn't be "too" hard.

For the points it is totally worth it. The only thing is that the elites are so crowded as is right now. I'm not sure what i should replace. Maybe I could drop the two single zoans and maybe drop a mawloc to get a formation with an extra tyrant in the list. I had wanted to try the neurothrope out for a couple games. I feel it could be boom or bust if used in a tyrannocyte. I need more input on that part of the list. if anyone has experience with the neurothropes or maybe a link to a bat rep, that would be great.
