1500pts highlander game, an00bis's Tau vs Skimask Mohawk's Raven Guard (ultras traits). Very interesting game, raven guard also had cypher.

Wow! I almost never play games or see games where everything is painted. Good job!

Nice! Great to see another batrep from you guys. Really liked the table setup that game. And I agree it would be interesting to see how well some of those other factions hold up in highlander.

It might just be me going crazy/getting old but I vaguely remember an00bis from GW, not Bayshore I don't think... whatever the other one was called.

The long high walls made it more interesting. Another great report !

Yeah he used to work at the st laurent battle bunker before gw closed it down.

Personally I love that table so much, it really allows jump/jet troops to be useful

I am liking highlenader format! Great job guys.

Maybe making troops and transports 0-2 would help armies like DE and Orks while keeping the spirit of the format.

True but one of the inside jokes has been "just take master of ambush", because in our highlander format you can pick your warlord trait or in some cases traits. Not that orks aren't hurting but with master of ambush it can help turn the tide a bit in terms of getting into assault. Same goes for dark eldar, if you're list is lacking transportation, being able to infiltrate or outflank is nice, But there are a lot of possibilities that open up for armies and lits when warlord traits aren't random, Lutnit's been running creed and one of his traits has been every unit within 12 of his warlord re-rolls ones, and he's got enough plasma for the whole class.

The humorous side effect of a lot of lists having master of ambush as their warlord trait is that quite often both sides justs end up infiltrating and it starts the game off very tense and can help in terms of overall game time.

Master of ambush helped fill the gap of sneakiness

If FW characters are in then I'll use raven guard with korvydae as he's cheaper than a normal captain with his kit and he makes assault marines troops
