Alex here, new to Dakka. Been around for some time, usually stalking the Gallery and looking through various tips for painting.
I've been modelling planes (1:72 and later 1:32 scale) but as i'm now living in rent, i realized those behemoths were taking a lot of valuable space - that i now use for gaming figures (Assassin's Creed, Killzone, God of War, Starcraft, Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, Alien and Batman to recall all of them)

So i jumped onto the Warhammer40k bandwagon. I'm spending time usually playing video games so i don't play WH matches (except the video games obviously), so i only paint 'em.
At the moment i have about 7 squads of termies painted in various chapters colours, real or not. I only painted Terminators, and will start on Contemptors and Dreadnoughts.
I don't pretend to be very skilled at it, i do it mainly for fun - and it helps clearing my mind a lot (as long as i don't turn on the bloody compressor and start airbrushing)

I'll be working now on a CC FW Contemptor part of an invented Chapter - most probabil will be called Phoenix (+ something else), and will be a secret successor Chapter of the unfortunate Fire Hawks
Will most probably make a WIP log, as soon as i find the WIP section on this forum...too many threads around here
