I don't think a new kit would make sense honestly. I'm guessing a website error or repackaging into a black box(surprised they didn't do that before honestly).

Stuff will periodically and randomly disappear from the site, only to reappear shortly. It rarely has any particular meaning, just that they're just reorganizing their inventory or something.

Is there any way the mods can have this kind of random speculation just....shut down? This happens DAILY.

I'm amazed that people are posting up that certain things are no longer available or in stock as though it is a solid rumour confirmation....

You know, that time of year all the little Timmys get Mother and Father to buy them their shiny things to give to them? Seems reasonable to assume that for recent releases things may in fact sell out.

It's like people just trawl the GW website looking for things out of stock and their first impulse is to run to a computer and post it on Dakka.

There is a difference between "No Longer Available"(like the Tomb Kings book and Dreadknight both) and "Temporarily Out of Stock"(which is what you would see if they just were getting hammered by Christmas sales on bigger ticket items for little Timmy or Big Dave who got his wife to buy him something). The latter is what they use to mark things that have been bought in large quantities and are going to be available again in a matter of weeks.

In the case of the Dreadknight and it being "No Longer Available", this might have been GW running down the stock and they're preparing to release a new box style...but the Tomb Kings book being NLA is just strange.

Seriously, though, it's probably just GW not keeping up with demand or doing a repackage or something.

They're sold out because 10 year olds are getting them for Christmas.
