Infiltrating Broodlord

Plague Zombies are unlocked if Typhus is a Hq choice in your primary detachment. Your primary detachment is the one with your Warlord in it?
So if I take say:
Daemons (CAD)
Hq
GUO
GUO
Troops
Nurglings x3
Nurglings x3
CSM (allied)
Hq
Typhus (Warlord)
Troops
Zombies x35
Is this legal? Or can your allied detachment never be your primary?

Allied Detachment can't be a Primary and Warlord can never be selected from it.
IA13 allows Zombies as a Troop Choice with a cheaper HQ than Typhus. You should look at that route.

I would like to point out that Typhus does not need to be your Warlord, nor in the Primary Detachment to unlock zombies. You just need to include him.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

Automated Rubric Marine of Tzeentch

also you dont need to have him as an allies CAD, as you could just take a CSM CAD to go with your daemons CAD but then you need 2 troops rather than just the 1.
also the others above are totally correct as well
|
CSM 20,000 Pts
Daemons 4,000 (ish)
WoC over 10,000
6000+ Pts

Having Typhus as your HQ is not only unnecessary, but it's also suboptimal.
The zombies in IA have some additional special rules attached to them, allowing the zombie squad to grow as they inflict casualties.

If Typhus is not your primary warlord does that mean he only unlocks zombies as troops but not plague marines?
