He's the David Bowie of Forge World. IA13 is a masterpiece. He wrote excellent stuff for FFG, he writes a good BL novel (Commissar was tops) and he hangs about with DJs and Professor Elemental.

As with many really really good scifi shows (Babylon5, Farscape), you have to survive a really poor first series for it to get good, but DS9 was the best star trek they did. Far darker and more mature than the rest.
