Hi Fellow Dakkanaughts,
Not sure if this the correct Forum or not and I apologise if not. I have recently dropped onto a lot of napoleonic models and want to sell all the unopened bags of all 15mm and 25mm of miniatures which have an extensive Variety of models in each bag ranging from linemen of all types of poses and Cavalry to the command of armies and singular models like officers.
The reason I am writing on here is to see how much of a response I would get to see how popular it is. I own an army and have a vast amount of unfinished models that I can upgrade my army or even make new armies.
There are games I know of out there like "musket and tomahawk" and "black powder" so I hope it is as popular as it seems.
So what do you think is it something interesting would you yourselves buy some and get cracked on with this hobby. Please let me know what your thoughts are.
(I'm not trying to sell it to you by the way guys I promise )
Thanks
Darkhorse

Your best bet is to divide the figures up by type. You can post them here, but it's much more likely to sell somewhere like Lead Adventure or The Miniatures Page where there is a strong napoleonic following.

Happy to help. For selling, Lead Adventure is a particularly good choice for you because of the strong UK and Europe contingent. For general info on gaming Naps, TMP should be on your list of sites to visit too. Still, when selling I'd probably go whole hog and post it at TMP, Dakka, LeadAdv, and Bartertown.
Historical gaming groups do tend to run a bit under the radar, and don't game as often but chances are there's some folks in your area that would enable you to get in at least a couple games a month. Best of luck with the sale and your new hobby.
Lastly, Dakka does have a "historical Gaming" section...
