Hi Fellow Dakkanaughts,

Not sure if this the correct Forum or not and I apologise if not. I have recently dropped onto a lot of napoleonic models and want to sell all the unopened bags of all 15mm and 25mm of miniatures which have an extensive Variety of models in each bag ranging from linemen of all types of poses and Cavalry to the command of armies and singular models like officers.

The reason I am writing on here is to see how much of a response I would get to see how popular it is. I own an army and have a vast amount of unfinished models that I can upgrade my army or even make new armies.
There are games I know of out there like "musket and tomahawk" and "black powder" so I hope it is as popular as it seems.

So what do you think is it something interesting would you yourselves buy some and get cracked on with this hobby. Please let me know what your thoughts are.

(I'm not trying to sell it to you by the way guys I promise )

Well, I suppose it depends on what you have and what manufacturer they are from. You might post it on the Swap Shop as well, that's the normal forum for selling and trading. But if you want to post what you've got here as well, I doubt anyone would mind.

You need to list the different types, e.g. Russian Jaegers 1807 uniform, Austrian Hussars, 1797 uniform and so on. The makes would also be useful to know, and in some cases the period. For example, Minifigs 15mm were completely redesigned in the 1990s, so if someone has an existing army of earlier Minifigs they might prefer more of the older models.

Unless you want to sell the whole lot really cheap and let the buyer sort them out.

Also the Swap Shop is the official place for selling them but it was a good idea to mention them here.

Also as for listing I did try using various websites to identify the models however most of them were so similar my head felt like exploding.
There are a few bags that state what they have (different manufacturer). They have Russian officers for horseback and stuff but swap shop never thought of it really how detailed do I have to be about these models on swap shop.

Detailed enough so that potential buyers know what they're buying. Listing them out like Killkrazy said would be ideal. You could also take pictures of things you're not sure of.

Old Minifigs Napoleonics can be quite sort after by some historical gamers depending if they are from the original series or later versions.

Personally, I'd sort them out and stick them on Ebay as some go for decent money on occasion.

Write a list the codes of the packs. Minifigs changed all their figures codes when they redesigned their figures. Someone somewhere probably has a list of the old catalogue online.

Minifigs themselves must have a listing.

I fit perfectly into that category where all of my Napoleonics are from the pre-1990's era. Have a ton, but I'm always interested in picking up more. Float me a list please.
