Can you briefly explain how your bikestar unit works?

It's shooty and assaulty plus very hard to kill. Chapter Master tanks wounds with 2+/3++ and FNP. Grav guns are great versus anything with good armor save and not bad versus armor either. It's also very mobile with 12" move and flatout. Night fight confers 2++ cover save when flatting. I roll on telepathy for psychic shreak, invisible and shrouded with Libby - Prescience and Ignore Cover with Rune Priest. Iron Priest provides another 2+ save along with Rune Priest and Libby plus the S8 AP1 servo arm.

Sounded like a tough game, good job. I normally play with Khan to give everyone scout then have more troop squads rather than a deathstar, but this list looks really fun. The one time I did the bike command squad it was killed in a single turn against Taudar with 6th ed misfortune on it. Perhaps it is time to dust it off and try it again with psychic support.

Versus a good Tau player it can be a real challenge with their insane volume of fire power... Stormraven would have no chance versus them. They don't like close combat much though. I really like the Libby over Khan seeing we have turbo boost plus I rarely reserve the bike units.
